二 | 宣布取消该赛事的同时，世界田联授予扬州2027年世界田联路跑锦标赛的举办权。世界田联路跑锦标赛是世界田联将于2023年升级推出的路跑赛事。根据世界田联计划，世界田联路跑锦标赛将纳入半程马拉松锦标赛、新引入世界5公里锦标赛等，且大众锦标赛与精英锦标赛将同时举行，进一步引领全球路跑行业的发展。
